The Box Ghost is recurring character and a ghost villain in Danny Phantom. He is the laughing stock of the Ghost Zone. Usually serving as a cameo, his main function in the series is to serve as comedic relief instead of being an actual antagonist.
He was among the gang of ghosts that ganged up again Inferno in Grim Tales: Rebirth but got scared away by Walker. |

Clockwork[]
Clockwork |
---|
|
Clockwork is a violet cloaked ghost with a pale face and time staff, which he uses often. Predictably, he lives in a giant clock filled citadel. He oversees time and has time based powers, such as stopping or fast-forwarding, as well as genuine prescience. If people meddle with time, he has the ability to reset everything from just before the person meddled, and he and his section of the Ghost Zone are also immune to alternate time paths or paradoxes. He can use amulets to bring people or things into the past, present or future.
In Grim Tales: Rebirth he plays a rather passive role as opposed to his appearances in the original comic. He is only there to warn Dan Phantom about him getting involved with Inferno's life and that he should keep notice that Clockwork can remove him from the timeline in an instant. |

The more wishes she grants, the more powerful she becomes. Prior to her life as a ghost, Desiree was a harem girl who won the heart of a Sultan. He promised to grant her all of her heart's desires and even a kingdom of her very own. However, she was cast away from the palace by the Sultan's jealous wife. Dying of a broken heart and old age, Desiree wandered around as a ghost, forever stuck granting whatever wishes people desire.

Ember McLain[]
Ember McLain |

Ember McLain is one of the major recurring antagonists of Danny Phantom. According to one of the creators for the show, before she died, Ember was an unpopular high school-aged girl who had large dreams of becoming a rock star. One day a boy asked her out to the movies. She waited all night for him to show up, saying, "He's just running late." When morning came and he didn't show up, Ember went home. She was so exhausted that she fell asleep and didn't wake up when her house mysteriously caught on fire. She died in the flames, which possibly gave her the name "Ember". Her song "Remember" is possibly based on the above events prior to her death.
In Grim Tales: Rebirth she has aged and married Skulker. Together they had a son Inferno, who also took her last name. She often goes out with her best friends, who are still assumed to be Kitty and Penelope Spectra as shown in the episode "Girls Night Out". She often holds concerts in the Underworld as well. She seems to be a lot more concerned about Inferno than Skulker and is the one who wants to be with Skulker despite him cheating, for the sake of Inferno. Throughout the story she feels remorse for not caring as much as she should for Inferno. |

Nicolai Technus is introduced in the show in the episode "Attack of the Killer Garage Sale", when Danny Fenton was tasked with cleaning the Fenton Lab, popping out of the Fenton Portal. Later, Danny sells some of his dad's stuff, which was covered with Technus's ectoplasm. The gadgets collected and turned into a robotic armor that Technus uses. This is probably how he got back into the human world. He is primary Ecto-Mechanical in nature, mainly linking himself to either a mechanized power armor or any other form of basic technology.
In Grim Tales: Rebirth he first appears when he is pranked by Inferno, but resists attacking him because he doesn't want to get in trouble with Skulker and Ember. He later is among the group of ghosts that beat Inferno up, he hits Inferno with an electric rod. He appear as in his later appearances in Danny Phantom. |

Youngblood is portrayed as a child ghost who likes to dress-up. He has an assistant, a skeleton-like shapeshifter who takes the form of animals who go along with these characters, like when Youngblood was a pirate, his shapeshifter was a parrot, then later a horse when Youngblood was a cowboy.
In Grim Tale: Rebirth he traps himself in jail to lure Inferno into escaping with him. He earns his trust by telling the story of why he always stays young and unlike other ghosts doesn't age. He also reveals that his parents beat him as a human because he always played dress-up and eventually one blow from his parents was fatal. When he earned Inferno's trust he deceived him and along with other ghosts beat him up, only to be arrested by Walker in the end. |
